Chimney Peak is a notable peak on the northern edge of the Middle Santiam Wilderness. It stands above the old growth forests of the wilderness area. From the top you can look east across a part of the wilderness, across the road-less area around the Three Pyramids all the way to Mt Jefferson. To get to Chimney Peak from the south, take the Chimney Peak Trail through much of the Middle Santiam wilderness.
